the key inflammatory issue in your former post on Hawash was that he'd not been charged with anything. (and was being held anyway.) ...sometime in between then and now, charges were filed. (at that point i'm sure he had no choice but to COP.) anyway, i think that Ashcroft's "i told you so" would be a bit misplaced. :)
